I knew Jerry for many years as we were co-workers in the newsroom at The Chronicle-Telegram. I love sports too and our conversations about the Browns, Indians and Ohio State were many. His columns illuminated sports in northern Ohio. His many, many articles over the years kept area sports enthusiasts informed. He was good for Elyria and the county. God speed Jerry. My condolences toi his wife, Barbara.
