I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Shirley. She was my best friend and even my maid of honor in my wedding in 1954. We went to OU together and had so many great times. She was a great gal and I will hold on to the good times we had. With love, Rosie

We are so Sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your Mother, Mother-in -Law and Grandmother. I\\\'m reminded to be grateful for the time I have had with my own mother. Our mothers have been such a blessing in our lives, and they will continue to bless us even now and in the future. Your Mother touched so many lives in teaching, volunteering and anyone else she came in contact with. The heart that your mother had for others is a rare gift. I remember when my mother used to talk about her when she used to do her hair. They had great talks about the boys. Please know, we aren\\\'t far if you need a shoulder Love The Nieghbors

Please be encouraged: "For I well know what I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Welch Family's lives were made so much richer with Shirley Oliver being a part. Shirley's friendship with our Mom, Ellen, went so much further than the bounds of a normal friendship. The differences in their style, manners and personalities were of little consequence and quite possibly could be the binding that held them together. So many wonderful memories of camp outs, holidays together and times spent, bring smiles to our faces. It also brings back memories of Mr. O. He also had a profound effect on our lives as our last visit with him brought us a message of life we've never forgotten "Save a few of those apples for yourself!" This was a clear message to us to "enjoy life!" Mrs. O cared about our entire family and was a positive role model and teacher for the Welch kids and their families. Our hearts and minds are filled with fond memories of you as we say goodbye Mrs. O. Love and Gods Speed as he welcomes you to heaven. Michael & Rita
