Carl BrynerCarl E. Bryner, 79 years old of LaGrange, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Keystone Point in LaGrange.

Mr. Bryner was born on October 17, 1938 in Oliphant Furnace, Pennsylvania and made his home in Lorain County since 1956. He graduated from Uniontown, Pennsylvania High School in 1956. He was an insurance agent and the owner of Bryner Insurance Agency in Elyria, Ohio. A former member of Abbe Road Baptist Church and the Lionís Club, he was a past president of Keystone Athletic Boosters for 10 years. He coached Little League and Hot Stove Baseball for years while his sons were involved. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving him are his wife, Colleen (nee Gaskill); two sons, Derek (Theresa) Bryner of Wellington and Chad Bryner of LaGrange; seven grandchildren, Sheena Bryner, Dameon Bryner of Elyria, Devin Bryner of Wellington, Katrina Bryner of LaGrange, Marisa Bryner of North Ridgeville, Braeden Bryner of North Ridgeville, and Ethan Bryner of North Ridgeville; and two great granddaughters. Also surviving are five sisters, Eva, Donna, Verna, Betty, and Linda.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Scott Bryner and Craig Bryner, both in 1986; his parents, Brent and Thelma (nee Nicklow) Bryner; three brothers, Brent, Jim, and Paul Bryner; and two sisters, Norma and Leona.

Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 3:00 until the time of services at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Rick Keesee of Midway Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange, Ohio.

Mr. Bryner and my dad were friends for a long time. They even went to high school together. I remember my dad golfing with C.B., and enjoying each others company. I just wanted to say I was sorry, and my prayers are with your family. Jim Martin
